There are two memorials within Great Brington. The first stands in Main Street and is in the form of a stone cenotaph set on a three-stepped base with a metal plaque bearing the inscriptions; there is a metal relief of a laurel wreath at the top of the cenotaph. The memorial contains 28 names for World War 1 only. The seond memorial is to be found inside St Mary the Virgin Church, Great brington and takes the form of a wall mounted brass plaque with a marble backboard. This contains the same 28 names as the cenotaph.

ANDERSON	George E	Sapper 414743 13th Pontoon Park Company, Royal Engineers. Died 13th October 1918. Aged 37. Born at Great Brington, Northants. Son of Edward J. and Eilen Anderson; husband of Ellen Louisa Anderson, of 9, Badby Rd., Daventry, Northants. Buried in Cairo War Memorial Cemetery, Egypt. Grave ref 0295.
ANDERSON	Robert	Private 23794, 1st Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Killed in action 9th September 1916. Born Brington, Northants, enlisted Rugby. A Reservist. Attested 19 April 1900 as Private 5932, 3rd Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment, at Northampton, aged 21 years 3 months, a single man, height 5 feet 3¼ inches, weight 106lbs, chest 32 inches, fresh complexion, blue eyes, dark brown hair, religious denomination Church of England. Discharged 18 April 1906 having completed his service. In the 1901 census he was aged 23, born Northaptonsire, an Agricultural Labourer, son of John and Mary Anderson, resident Cottage, Main Street, Great Brington, Brington, Brixworth, Northamptonshire. In the 1911 census he was aged 33, born Great Brington, a Farm Labourer, boarding with Ernest Anderson at Murcott, Rugby, Northamptonshire. No known grave. Commemorated on Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France. Pier and Face 11 A and 11 D.
ANDERSON	William T	No further information currently - There is a Thomas ANDERSON, Corporal 15290, 7th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Killed in action 18 August 1916. Born at Great Brington, Northants, enlisted Northampton. Buried in Delville Wood cemetery, Longeuval, Somme, France. Plot XII. Row L. Grave 8.
ANDREW	Bertie Frederick	Private 16867 2nd Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Died 9th May 1915. Aged 22. Son of Mrs. Elizabeth Andrew, of Stowe Hill, Weedon, Northants. No known grave. Commemorated on Ploegsteert Memorial, Belgium. Panel 7.
CALLOW	George	Private 14482, 1st Battalion, Coldstream Guards. Killed in action 15th September 1916. Aged 22. Born and resident Little Brington, Northants, enlisted Northampton. Son of Frank and Ellen Callow, of Little Brington, Northants. Buried in Guards Cemetery, Lesboeufs, France. Special Memorial 22.
CALLOW	Wilfred J	Gunner 169256, 113 Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Died 26th November 1917. Aged 36. Son of Mrs. John Callow, of Great Brington; husband of E. A. Callow, of 56, Great Brington, Northampton. Buried in Potijze Chateau Grounds Cemetery, Belgium. Plot I.Row D. Grave 18

George, of 40, Great Brington, Northampton. Previously served in the Volunteers and Northants Territorials, from 1912. Awarded the Military Medal (M.M.). MORLEY	John Norris	Lieutenant, 7th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Died 25th September 1915. Son of Earl Spencer’s Land Agent and also appears in the 1901 Census for the village. No known grave. Commemorated on Loos Memorial, Pas de Calais, France. Panel 91 to 93.
OLIVER	Harry	Private 124246, 5th Battalion, Canadian Mounted Rifles. Died 2nd October 1916. Aged 29. Son of Joseph and Emily Oliver, of Little Brington, Northamptonshire; husband of Eva M. REDLEY MM	William E	Lance Serjeant 15216, "D" Company, 7th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment, Died 1st August 1917. Aged 27. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Redley, of Great Brington, Northampton. Awarded the Military Medal (MM). Buried in Aeroplane Cemetery. Special Memorial No. 2.
RICHARDSON	Charles	No further information currently. Inscribed at the foot of his parents headstone in St Mary’s churchyard are the following words Presumed killed Oct. 22 1917 Aged 29 years’ His parents full names were John Muscott Richardson and Emma Jane Richardson.
STOWE	Ernest James	Serjeant 40164 2nd Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment. Killed in action 26th July 1917. Born and enlisted Brington, Northants. No known grave. Commemorated on Ypres [The Menin Gate] Memorial. Belgium. Panel 43 and 45.
TARPLEY	Horace Andrew	Driver 254120, 34th A.F.A. Brigade, Signal Sub. Section, Royal Engineers. Died 23rd March 1918. No known grave. Commemorated on Arras Memorial, Pas de Calais, France. Bay 1.
TREADGOLD	Albert	[Listed as THREADGOLD] Private 25226, 7th Battalion, The Buffs (East Kent Regiment). Died 24th June 1918. Aged 21. Son of John and Sarah Treadgold, of Great Brington, Northampton. Buried in Pernois British Cemetery, Halloy-Les_Pernois, Somme, France. Plot II. Row D. Grave 9.
