Lieutenant Hubert Reginald Baldwin

Lieutenant, Nelson Battalion, Royal Naval Division, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. Missing presumed killed in action 13 July 1915. Son of William Baldwin, of Colleybatch, Tenbury, Worcestershire. Religious denomination Church of England. Resident 2 Grotes Place, Blackheath, London S.W. Sick at home when Howe battalion embarked for M.E.F. 28 February 1915, followed with benbow Battalion 10 May 1915. Sub-Lieutenant 1 October 1914, Temporary Lieutenangt 20 May 1915. Transferred from Benbow Battalion to Nelson battalion 12 June 1915. The weeks leading up to his death he was admiited to hospital several times with Dysentery and Gastro-enteritis, He was discharged to duty 7 July 1915. No known grave. Commemorated on HELLES MEMORIAL, Turkey (including Gallipoli). Panel 8 to 16.
CORFIELD Vincent George
Private 202707, 16th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Killed in action 22 April 1918. Aged 23. Born Coreley, Shropshire, resident Tenbury, Worcestershire, enlisted Wrexham. Son of Edwin and Cicely Corfield, of Gatmore, Nash, Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire. Buried in BOUZINCOURT COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Somme, France. Plot II. Row K. Grave 5.
DOVEY Alfred John
Lance Corporal 27859, 14th Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment. Killed in action 29 June 1918. Born Knighton-On-Teme, Worcestershire, resident Tenbury, enlisted Worcester. Husband of M. A. Dovey, of Church Bridge, Nash, Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire. Buried in ENGLEBELMER COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Somme, France. Row E. Grave 20.
HOWELLS Percy Henry
Private 19943, 1st Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment. Killed in action 30 August 1915. Aged 18. Born and resident Boreston, Salop, enlisted Kidderminster, Worcestershire. Son of Mr. W. H. and Mrs. M. A. C. Howells, of Rose Cottage, Boraston, Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire. Buried in RUE-DAVID MILITARY CEMETERY, FLEURBAIX, Pas de Calais, France. Plot I. Row C. Grave 13.
LEWIS Geoffrey William
Lance Corporal 201075, 1st/4th Battalion, King's Shropshire Light Infantry. Died 25 November 1918. Aged 20. Son of William and Alice Lewis, of Sherborne Farm, Tenbury Wells, Worcs. Buried in AWOINGT BRITISH CEMETERY, Nord, France. Plot III. Row F. Grave 18.
PARDOE George Southey
The Rev., Chaplain 4th Class, Army Chaplains' Department. Died on service 15 October 1918. Aged 41. Son of George Owen Pardoe, and Letitia Pardoe, of Shropshire; husband of Gertrude Pardoe, of Southcote, Baldock, Herts. Buried in JERUSALEM WAR CEMETERY, Israel and Palestine (including Gaza). Plot/Section R. Grave 108.
ROWBERRY Nelson
[Listed as RUBERY on SDGW] Private 19944, 3rd Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment. Died of wounds 24 May 1916. Aged 21. Born Leominster, Hereford, resident and enlisted Tenbury, Worcestershire. Grandson of Ann Rowbery, of Dintill Cottage, Boraston, Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire. Buried in AUBIGNY COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION, Pas de Calais, France. Plot I. Row C. Grave 31.
